Join the St. Thomas More Society of San Francisco for our annual Red Mass, a special liturgy invoking God’s guidance for those in the legal profession.
This year, we are honored to present the 2026 St. Thomas More Award to John A Rowland in recognition of his exemplary service, faith, and commitment to the Catholic community.

About Our 2026 Honoree
John A. Rowland has exemplified the values of St. Thomas More through his unwavering commitment to service, faith, and sacrifice. His notable achievements include:
- Serving honorably in the U.S. military overseas.
- Serving two terms as a Assistant District Attorney in the San Francisco District Attorneys Office. The second term was after a successful trial attorney career in private practice.

Payments for the 2026 Red Mass Reception at the Italian Athletic Club may be made online by filling out the form below. Members who make an online payment will receive a payment receipt by email. Checks and cash will also be accepted at the door but we ask that reservations be made through the website.
